The Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies of the College of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences (FSPAC) kindly invites you to attend the public lecture of Dr. Randolph L. BRAHAM, Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the Graduate School and University Center of the City University of New York, on 6 October 6, 2 P.M., in room T1 (FSPAC 2, 85 Minerilor Street).

The lecture, entitled: “The Holocaust: Comprehending the Incomprehensible”, is delivered in the context of the National Holocaust Remembrance Day (October 9) and will be followed by a Q&A session.

The event is organized in cooperation with the Center for the Study of Democracy (FSPAC) and will be moderated by FSPAC Associate Professor Dr. Zoltán TIBORI SZABÓ.

Professor Braham, born in Bucharest (1922) and raised in Dej, is an American historian and political scientist, survivor on the Holocaust in Northern Transylvania, and worldwide known authority of Holocaust studies, author and editor of many important Holocaust-related books, among others The Politics of Genocide (1981; 1994; 2016), The Bibliography of the Holocaust in Hungary, 1945-2010 (2011); The Geographical Encyclopedia of the Holocaust in Hungary (2013), and The Tragedy of Romanian Jewry (1994).

Both faculty and students are welcome to this outstanding event.
